Tai Chi Instructor Janice Skeens

Janice is a Tai Chi instructor who has been training with Sifu Lou since 2010. Her training has included Tai Chi, Chi Kung, and Traditional Wing Chun Kung Fu.  She is one of the instructors passionately teaching classes at Sifu Lou’s Traditional Wing Chun Kung Fu & Tai Chi Center.  

Janice is a mom of three children and a big fur family – dogs, cats, chickens, and horses.  She has created a holistically based lifestyle for herself, her kids, and her animals. She believes that practicing Tai Chi is a wonderful way to embrace the beauty of natural living.

Sifu Frank Robinson

Frank is a Latin teacher at Paul VI High School in Haddonfield. He was born and raised in Germany and after graduating from Bonn University he spent six years teaching in Japan. There he also met his wife Kelli, with whom he has four daughters. They moved to America in 2002 and Frank started training with Sifu Lou in 2004. His family has been raising Seeing Eye puppies for a number of years and they currently have four dogs. In his free time Frank enjoys playing guitar, kayaking, and riding his bicycle through the woods.

Sihing Mark Wilson

Mark has been with the school since he retired from police work 15 years ago. Mark has earned a brown sash and is working towards his black sash. Mark is a Vietnam era veteran who served in the U.S. Army. His teaching experience includes developing and teaching classes for Rutgers University, the New Jersey DOT, as well as being a lead instructor for Traffic Science at the Camden County Police Academy. Mark states that his confidence in the school led him to enroll his two young grandsons in Wing Chun Kung Fu to help develop their confidence, coordination, and physical conditioning.

Sihing Nicolas Cook

Nicolas takes pride in his family and his training. He has been studying Wing Chun for 7 years. Growing up, he learned boxing from his father. While training in the school he met his wife, Mary Cook. They are now starting their family together and plan to enroll their children in class when they are older. Nicolas aspires to be a Sifu and plans to open his own school. Nicolas sets an excellent example for his peers. He also sets a high standard for himself and his skills.

Sihing Michael Sharp

Michael is 47 years old and began his martial arts training 11 years ago. He studied TaeKwonDo for the first 7 years of his training. Michael has been training in Traditional Wing Chun and Tai Chi for over 4 years. In his free time, Michael is an avid off-road motorcycle racer/rider. He has won multiple off-road class championships in the East Coast Enduro Association. In the past few years, Michael believes his dedicated martial arts training assisted with his racing successes.
